We hope you’ll find that Grace is somewhere that you can feel comfortable to explore faith, ask questions, grow spiritually, and connect with others. And most importantly, of course, we hope you connect with God!

Week 2: East to West

Thursday, January 30

Pray for Gospel Clarity.

2 Timothy 1:9-10: He has saved us and called us to a holy life–not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

Thank Jesus for saving you. Thank him for saving others. Ask him to reveal what it means to truly live a holy life. Confess that there are times when it is possible to think he saves based on one’s good deeds or merit rather than purely because of his own purpose and grace. Ask that the hearts and minds of people connected with Medina East Campus come to a deep understanding and embrace of the real Gospel. Ask for protection against versions of the Gospel that consist of anything other than what the Bible actually teaches. Ask that people become willing to genuinely count the cost and see the value of truly taking up their cross. Ask God to allow the profound power and implications of the cross to sear itself into the consciousness of the people of Medina East Campus and that they are given the capacity to see clear and direct application of the Gospel in every sphere of their lives. Ask that generations to come are given a pure and clear presentation of the Gospel through the investment of the people of Medina East.
