We hope you’ll find that Grace is somewhere that you can feel comfortable to explore faith, ask questions, grow spiritually, and connect with others. And most importantly, of course, we hope you connect with God!

Week 2: East to West

Saturday, February 1

Pray for Spiritual Eyes.

2 Corinthians 5:14-17 For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

“Thank you, Jesus, for your great love. Thank you for dying for us. You died that we who live should not live for ourselves, but for you. Thank you for all that the cross means. Thank you for all that the resurrection means. Help me to understand the power of your life, death, and resurrection. As a result of this incredible reality, help me to no longer look at people from a merely worldly perspective. Please, Father, give me spiritual eyes to see people the way you see them. Help me view people in my path of life as created in your image and loved by you. Even if people hurt me or frustrate me, help me to love them and see them as you see them. Please give me grace and mercy and love for all the people with whom I interact. Help me to see the incredible potential of those around me and to help them discover their potential as well. Increase my ability to be encouraging and kind to all those around me. Help me to engage in the exponential impact of seeing and interacting with people as you do. Give the people of Medina East a sensitivity to the spiritual needs of others. Establish and strengthen a generational legacy of spiritual sensitivity, that seeing people as you see them would increase though our efforts until you return.”
