We hope you’ll find that Grace is somewhere that you can feel comfortable to explore faith, ask questions, grow spiritually, and connect with others. And most importantly, of course, we hope you connect with God!

Week 2: East to West

Sunday, February 2

Pray for Effectiveness as Ambassadors of Reconciliation.

2 Corinthians 5:18-21 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Thank God for the gift of reconciliation. Confess that apart from the work of Jesus, you would be estranged from God. Express your sincere gratitude as someone who has been given the greatest gift – a renewed and reconciled relationship with God. Ask him to help you understand your role as an ambassador of reconciliation. Ask that you are given many opportunities to share Jesus with others. Ask that he continue to give you boldness and wisdom about how you are to talk to people about him. Ask for a passionate desire to see others come to know Jesus. Ask that the people of Medina East would become more and more excited about evangelism. Pray that the good news of who Jesus is and what he has done and can do in one’s life would be so compelling that our people would overflow with a desire to share this news. Pray that the efforts of our people to be ambassadors of reconciliation would be effective and that the Holy Spirit would captivate hearts and open minds to the reality of the power and beauty of the Gospel. Ask that generations and generations are saved through the efforts of our people here and now. Praise Jesus for the opportunity he has given his people to participate in the good work of drawing people into himself.
