Pray for Protection Against Spiritual Amnesia.

Judges 2:10: And all that generation also were gathered to their fathers. And there arose another generation after them who did not know the LORD or the work that he had done for Israel.

“Father, we recognize that this cultural moment has the potential to look like Judges 2. We ask that you protect us from forgetting what you have done. Our culture tells us to live for ourselves rather than you. Our culture has largely removed you from the academic and scientific world, mocked you in the entertainment world, and ignored you in practice. Please protect us from falling into this spiritual amnesia. Help us to be a community that knows you and remembers the work you have done for us. Help us to recognize the importance of fighting against spiritual amnesia.”
