Week 2: East to West

Read and Pray Psalm 78:1-4: A maskil of Asaph. My people, hear my teaching; listen to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth with a parable; I will utter hidden things, things from of old– things we have heard and known, things our ancestors have told us. We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done. 

Thank Jesus for what he has done up to this point. Thank him for his role in history as a whole, in Grace Church, and in your personal story. Ask him to help you see the influence he has given you at this moment in his story. Ask for clarity and strength to share his story with the next generation. Praise him for his deeds, his power, and the wonders he has done. Ask him to give you greater expectancy for what good things are yet to come.
