EQUIPPING DIVISION COURSES

The Equipping Division is a series of practical, university-level, applied-ministry training courses that are designed to resource and equip the Christian worker for effective ministry.

WHAT DO CHRISTIANS BELIEVE? (via Zoom)

Learn what Christians believe and how they grow in maturity in their relationship with God and with others through Christian community. In the context of this eight-week course, we will examine the basic teachings of the Bible in a clear and systematic way, showing how God’s Word addresses major questions of life – and how both understanding and applying these things are essential to a deepening, personal relationship with Jesus and increased skill in sharing his love with others. The Bible will be our primary textbook for this course.

During the Fall 2020 semester, courses will be offered online only. All course materials and lectures will be available through Google Classroom and will be released on Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm. Additionally, we will meet weekly as a class on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 – 7:30pm via Zoom for encouragement, prayer, and questions/review of material.

Fall 2020 classes are currently taking place.

September 15-November 3

WHAT IS THE BIBLE? (via Zoom)

This eight-week course examines the collection of books that is the heartbeat and source of the Christian faith. It explores the Bible’s various genres and provides tools to read, understand, and obey God’s Word. The course will examine both the divine and human origins of the Bible and draw out the implications of these within a context of daily living. Finally, it will help equip students with a foundational love for God’s Word in order to develop personal study, as well as to help others grow.
