As parents, many things are vying for your attention, but the most important thing you could do for your child is to introduce them to Jesus and teach them to love the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. Parent Commissioning is a way to make this commitment public, while asking your family, friends, and church family to come alongside as you do.
While we are sending (commissioning) parents in the power of the Holy Spirit into their homes, we promise to go with them. It is our desire to partner with parents as they commit and devote themselves to invest in their children of any age to “bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4 NIV). The home is the primary mission field, and every parent is the primary spiritual leader who devotes themselves to seeing the gospel flourish in their children.
