Safe Families for Children – Interest Meeting
May 30th at 6:30pm.
Safe Families for Children seeks to keep children safe and families together by building a network of caring and compassionate volunteers to support families facing social isolation. Their goals are to prevent child abuse and neglect, reduce the number of children entering the child welfare system, and support and stabilize families.
Host Families open their homes and their hearts by voluntarily taking in children for short periods of time. Come and learn more about how you can make a lasting impression on a child in need and possibly change the trajectory of a family in crisis.
(The meeting is being hosted at the leader’s home; address and directions will be provided in response to your RSVP.)
